MALAYA 1 CENT small type

The Malaya 1 Cent (Small Type) coin was issued under British colonial rule, primarily during the 1940s. Struck in bronze, it features a smaller diameter than earlier issues. The obverse typically shows the portrait of King George VI with the inscription “GEORGE VI KING AND EMPEROR OF INDIA.” The reverse reads “COMMISSIONERS OF CURRENCY MALAYA” with the denomination and year.
